What you need

A Mac with macOS 26.1 or later, and your own Claude API key, or your Claude subscription in Crew’s terminal, and/or Codex on your own ChatGPT sign-in. Crew provides no AI capacity. Your AI costs are separate from the Crew price. Crew never resells AI capacity or pools logins.

On membership lapse, Crew goes read-only. Your data stays on your Mac; Crew never deletes it.
